Guys, if you're reading this: It wasn't your fault. By reading more challenging books to your children, you are exposing them to more words, which will help increase their vocabulary, getting them ready to read when they start school.

My chapter book and middle grade stories tend to fall in the paranormal and fantasy genres, with my YA skewing, more specifically, towards urban fantasy most often. My students need 68 chapter books at their reading levels.
